Call for Presentation Abstracts

The 2024 International Congress for Qualitative Research and Theory Methodologies (ic-QRTM) will take place September 26-29, 2024.

• Research Design and Methods: These sessions are focused on providing information on conducting research using qualitative methods, multi-method, mixed-method, or grounded theory research. These sessions can focus on research methods, research education, and fostering research excellence. The formats can include presentation sessions, workshops, panels, and Q&A.
• Research Study Presentations: These sessions focus on the results of research studies using qualitative methods, multi-method, mixed-method, or grounded theory research.
• Posters and Developmental Papers: Posters and Developmental Papers present proposals or work-in-progress.
• Building Community. These sessions are specifically designed to facilitate building relationships among ic-QRTM attendees.
  

Live virtual sessions are 45 minutes. Speakers should allow for 10-15 minutes of questions at the end. Pre-recorded sessions may be between 30-45 minutes. Posters may also include a 10-minute pre-recorded presentation of the poster. The primary language of the Congress is English; however, speakers may also have the opportunity to present in their native language.

We are now accepting abstracts for presentations until May 17, 2024. Abstracts must be submitted in English. Presenters may submit abstracts for more than one presentation. Each abstract must be submitted on a separate application through Oxford Abstracts. Abstracts should identify what research method is being covered in the presentation. Abstracts will be reviewed by the conference planning committee, and speakers will be notified by June15, 2024.
