The Institute for Research and Theory Methodologies (RTM), in partnership with CQUniversity Australia, is pleased to announce the call for presentation abstracts for the 2025 International Congress for Qualitative Research and Theory Methodologies (ic-QRTM).
This year’s theme, "Listening, Learning, and Leading Change Through Qualitative Research," highlights the power of qualitative methods in uncovering lived experiences, shaping policy, improving practice, and fostering social transformation.
RTM and CQUniversity Australia have pioneered a unique and innovative twist for the ic-QRTM. Rather than one event, ic-QRTM is a month-long event where researchers around the world have the opportunity to showcase their research in various ways to broaden the reach of their research.
All presenters will prepare a prerecorded 20-40-minute session which will be showcased in the RTM YouTube Channel for ic-QRTM and a 1-minute presentation for use on social media to promote their session at ic-QRTM.
In addition we will have will have three live events:
Live ‘Listening & Learning’ Session: An and open discussion where researchers share key insights from their work, with real-time audience engagement
Live ‘Leading Change’ Showcase: A special feature where select presenters demonstrate how their qualitative research has led to actual change in policy, practice, communities, or organizations
Live Conference Wrap-Up: A reflection session on what the community has learned and what actions can be taken moving forward. Presenters encourages to attend all live events.
We are now accepting abstracts for presentations until May 4, 2025. Abstracts must be submitted in English. Presenters may submit abstracts for more than one presentation. Each abstract must be submitted on a separate application through Oxford Abstracts. Abstracts should identify what research method is being covered in the presentation. Abstracts will be reviewed by the conference planning committee, and speakers will be notified by June16, 2025.
See Submission Guidelines HERE for more information.
