2024 Classic Grounded Theory International Virtual Conference
Call for Proposals

The Glaser Center for Grounded Theory at the Institute for Research and Theory Methodologies is hosting the 2024 Classic Grounded Theory International Virtual Conference on April 26-28, 2024.

This conference brings together classic grounded theory researchers from around the world to present research using classic grounded theory, provide training and support for new classic grounded theory researchers, and build a community of researchers who are interested in classic grounded theory.

The primary language of the conference is English.  However, we are accepting some presentations and posters in other languages.

The conference will include the following strands:

  • Learning Grounded Theory from leading Grounded Theorist in the world through presentation sessions, workshops, panels, and Q&A sessions
  • Doing Grounded Theory, presentations of grounded theories by researchers
  • Applying grounded theory, presentation sessions, workshops, panels, and Q&A sessions on how grounded theories have been applied or ways of applying the method
  • Building Community, sessions specifically designed to facilitate building relationships among conference attendees.
  • Posters and Developmental Papers that present proposals or work-in-progress
