2024 Classic Grounded Theory International Virtual Conference

Dates: April 26-28, 2024

The 2024 Classic Grounded Theory International Virtual Conference is an opportunity for students, faculty, and researchers who are interested in learning and doing grounded theory to gather and connect with people from all around the world who are interested in grounded theory research. The theme of this year’s conference is “Building Community: Connecting Grounded Theorists Worldwide.” The conference will include the following strands: 

•  Learning Grounded Theory from leading Grounded Theorist in the world through presentation sessions, workshops, panels, and Q&A sessions 
• Doing Grounded Theory, presentations of grounded theories by researchers
• Applying grounded theory, presentation sessions, workshops, panels, and Q&A sessions on how grounded theories have been applied or ways of applying the method 
• Building Community, sessions specifically designed to facilitate building relationships among conference attendees  
• Posters and Developmental Papers that present proposals or work-in-progress   

The conference will include live virtual sessions as well as pre-recorded sessions. Live virtual sessions will be recorded and made available on the conference platform following the conference. Participants will have access to the recordings for 8 weeks following the conference.
